SURNA : Web, Mobile and Social Games
Overview
Surna is a developer of leading web content and games for the Chinese and International markets. We focus on browser-based games and content so the user does not have to download or install any extra client software, and can play right away from any location.
Surna is headquarters in Hong Kong with Western and Western-educated senior management, with game development at studios in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, Guangdong province China.
Surna has developed the web games Demon Immortal and Sercia; as well as a social network and associated games for children.
Development is focusing on educational, action and shooting games that are tied to TV and comics series in China and which can be integrated with and cross-promoted with these.
All games are free-to-play and revenue is generated through in-game purchases and upgrades.
This “Freemium” model is common with webgames worldwide and the standard practice for most of the industry in China, and can drive significant and sustained revenue growth.
Registered users (RU) and Peak co-current users (PCU) are the elements base measurements of the popularity of an online game. Higher RUs and PCUs provide a better foundation for in-game revenue, and Surna’s games have a relatively high record of both RUs and PCUs.
We will focus on brand name building and collaboration with strategic partners, with a market segmentation with peculiar focus on children, young females and while collar workers. We will also Introduce new marketing techniques new to the Chinese marketplace - paired with the “Freemium” revenue model to drive in-game purchases
