5 Cannabis Cultivation Events Coming Up in 2022

2022 is halfway over, but there are still 5 cannabis trade shows you can't miss. Consider attending these events for networking opportunities, to research cannabis solutions and vendors, and to attend educational seminars.
June 30, 2022

Going to events is great for research and to continue learning new insights from industry experts. Connecting with other people in the cannabis industry creates a network of resources that will reach far beyond the shows you attend. Attending in-person events allows you to network with other growers, attend educational seminars, and explore resources you haven’t even thought to consider.

Prepare yourself for a show by thinking of your business’ needs and creating a list of things you are interested in learning or questions you would like to find answers to. Make the most of the event and attend as many relevant sessions as possible. Every show will display its agenda online, so you can schedule your day ahead of time.

When attending a cannabis trade show, take advantage of the opportunity to network. Ask potential vendors to arrange meeting with you so you can interview them in person. Attend workshops, happy hours, or after-parties where you might connect with other cultivators and players in the cannabis space. Collect brochures and other resources from booths on the trade show floor. Take full advantage of everything the show has to offer.

We often get asked by growers what the best events are. Most people have heard of MJBizCon or Cannabis Conference, both large cannabis events held in Las Vegas, Nevada. While we certainly recommend these shows based on their variety of exhibiting vendors and informative speaking sessions and panels, you should also seek out regional events located near you. They are usually less expensive to attend, and you will gain entrance to a pool of players in your local cannabis industry. If you aren’t sure which shows planned for the remainder of 2022, we’ve provided a list of the ones you won’t want to miss.
